Auckland to Cape Reinga, New Zealand

We decided to walk to the north first, passed the rocky outcrop known as Ihumoana Island and into O'Neill Bay. There is a house built on top of the island and we were told the owners climb up/down the set of stairs with their groceries every couple of weeks.   Select the photo below to see Ihumoana Island up closer.
